Elizabeth Rosenbeck named to fill seat left vacant by resignation of Howard Jorgenson
In a reversal of a previous decision, the Medical Lake City Council conducted interviews at its May 17 meeting and named a community member to fill the seat vacated by the resignation of the late-Councilman Howard Jorgenson on Jan. 19.
After a 20-minute executive session to discuss the qualifications of all five candidates, the council voted unanimously to recommend Elizabeth Rosenbeck to fill the vacant Position 5 seat. The recommendation now goes to the Spokane County Board of Commissioners for their consideration and approval.
