Cheney United Church of Christ

You are welcome to attend Cheney UCC at our next regular service on Sunday, April 10 at 10 a.m. led by pastor David Krueger-Duncan. Special music will be provided by soprano Keio Cunningham and we will enjoy our choir led by music director Kate Sloan. A coffee hour will follow in the church fellowship hall.

Men’s breakfast group will meet at Marketplace Cheney prior to services at 7:45 a.m. The Lunch Bunch will meet Thursday, April 14 at noon. If you wish to join us, bring a dish to share and come to the church fellowship hall.

Choir rehearsal is again meeting on Thursday at 7 p.m. If you would like to participate in the choir, contact Sloan at 481-5234. Church office hours are now Tuesday 4 — 6 p.m., Wednesday 11 a.m. — 1 p.m. and Thursday 4 — 7 p.m. and 8— 9 p.m. Call 235-4193 with questions about church activities. Messages may be left if no one is in the office at the time.

Emmanuel Lutheran Church

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.

A welcoming haven, nourishing all God’s people in body, mind and spirit.

Holy Communion at 11 a.m. The Rev. Christine Soule will preach and preside.

Attention all college students. The Episcopal, Lutheran and Methodist Campus Ministry meets each Monday evening at 5 p.m. for dinner, study and worship. Please join us. For more information contact Soule at 844-2553.

Choir practice is each Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. Come sing with us.

Alcoholics Anonymous meets every Saturday morning at 11:30 a.m. in the parish hall.

United Methodist Church

Please join us this week at the United Methodist Church. Morning worship is at 10 a.m. and will be led by associate pastor Pat Sleeth. All are welcome and childcare is available.

Preceding worship are Sunday school classes at 9 a.m. A new grief support group will begin this week during the Sunday school hour based on the book “A Grace Disguised.” Books are available in the church office for anyone who is interested.

Sunday evening the adult fellowship will meet at the home of Roger and Sonia Bertsch at 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome for this potluck gathering.

International pot luck

All are welcome to attend an international pot luck on April 8 from 6 - 7:30 p.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church Fellowship Hall at 12905 W. Sixth Ave. in Cheney/Four Lakes. Bring a favorite family dish and recipe.
