Cheney United Church of Christ

Pastor David Krueger-Duncan will preside at our Jan. 10 service at 10 a.m.  Special music will be provided by soprano, Ryan Gunn. A coffee hour will follow in the church fellowship hall.

Men’s breakfast will meet before services on Jan. 10 at 7:45 a.m. at Marketplace Cheney. Community support at our annual bazaar was much appreciated. Funds are being distributed to support UCC activities as well as to the community at large, including Cheney Outreach and Crosswalk.   

Emmanuel Lutheran Church

Emmanuel Lutheran Church invites you to worship with us Sunday, Jan. 10 at 10:30 a.m. as we celebrate the “Baptism of Our Lord.” You may also watch our pastor’s sermons at our website http://www.emmanuelcheney.org or on YouTube at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Cheney. Christian education for grade school through adults begins at 9 a.m.

Mark your calendars for Emmanuel’s annual “Festival of Chocolate” on Fat Tuesday, Feb. 9, from 6:30 — 8 p.m. A monetary donation will be taken at the door. All monies collected will go towards our 2016 Vacation Bible School program.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church

A welcoming haven, nourishing all God’s people in body, mind and spirit.

Holy Communion Sunday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Christine Soule will preach and preside.

Welcome back college students. The Episcopal, Lutheran and Methodist Campus Ministry meets each Monday at 5 p.m. for dinner, study and worship. Please join us. For more information contact Soule at 844-2553.

Alcoholics Anonymous meets every Saturday morning at ll:30 a.m. in the parish hall.

United Methodist Church

Please join us at the United Methodist Church for Sunday morning worship at 10 a.m. Pastor Alissa Bertsch Johnson will lead the service as we celebrate the Baptism of Christ Sunday. New members will be baptized and all will be invited to remember their own baptisms. Sunday school classes for all ages resume this week at 8:30 and 9 a.m.

Sunday evening the adult fellowship will gather at the home of Stan and Saralynn Kerr for a potluck dinner and games. Be a part of the fun and fellowship beginning at 6 p.m.
