CHENEY
Dec. 14
A 16-year-old male was arrested for third-degree theft on the 100 block of West First Street.
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 700 block of West First Street.
Charges against a 16-year-old Cheney High School female for making a false report are being referred to the prosecutor.
A set of car keys was found on the 700 block of Salnave Road.
Dec. 15
A small purse was found on the 2400 block of First Street.
Dec. 16
Richard D. Gomes, 36, was arrested on a the 400 block of North Sixth Street on a felony warrant out of Nevada for possession of dangerous drugs.
Robbery was reported on the 700 block of Fifth Street.
Second-degree theft was reported on the 2200 block of First Street. Vehicle accessories were taken.
A stolen vehicle was recovered on the 800 block of West First Street. The vehicle was stolen in Spokane in May and returned the next day but not reported.
Dec. 17
Officers dealt with a prisoner making a Cheney Municipal Court appearance who wanted to turn over his property to his fiancée.
While releasing a prisoner’s property at the Cheney Police Station, officers discovered the property contained possible stolen items.
A possible break-in attempt was reported on the 1700 block of Third Street.
Dec. 18
Third-degree theft/shoplifting was reported on the 2800 block of First Street.

Dec. 14
Vehicle prowling was reported on the 1000 block of East Lake Street.
Theft was reported on the 200 block of East State Route 902.
Theft was reported at the Medical Lake Spokane Community Oriented Policing Effort office.
Dec. 15
A threat was reported on the 800 block of West Maple Street.
Dec. 16
Physical abuse was reported on the 2300 block of South Salnave Road.
A threat was reported on the 1000 block of East Lake Street.
Dec. 17
Assault was reported on the 1000 block of East Tara Lee Avenue.
Dec. 18
Assault was reported at North Brower and East Lake streets.
Dec. 20
Physical abuse was reported on the 500 block of South Jefferson Street.
An accident was reported at South Brooks and West Hallett roads.
AIRWAY HEIGHTS
Dec. 16
William Blankenship, 50, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for second-degree burglary, possession of a controlled substance/methamphetamine and third-degree theft/shoplifting.
A traffic accident with damages was reported at Hayford Road and 21st Avenue.
Dec. 17
Ronald C. Opp, 48, was arrested at Highway 2 and Garfield Road for third-degree driving while license suspended (DWLS).
A suicidal subject was reported on the 13500 block of Sixth Avenue.
Dec. 18
Everett D. G. Fischer (no age provided) and a juvenile were arrested on the 12800 block of West Highway 2 for third-degree theft/shoplifting.
Dec. 20
Officers conducted a welfare check on the 1800 block of South Lawson Street.
A domestic violence no contact order violation was reported on the 12400 block of West Frank Street.
Dec. 21
Vehicle theft was reported on the 13100 block of West Highway 2.
Randy L. Smith, 32, was arrested on the 900 block of Beeman Street for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 1400 block of South Garfield Road.
Incidents of second-degree theft and burglary were reported on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue.
Officers took a missing person report on the 12800 block of West Highway 2.
Vehicle theft was reported on the 13100 block of West Highway 2.
