Betz PTA Santa’s workshop
The Betz Elementary PTA is sponsoring a Santa’s workshop where kids can come and shop for their family members. This is a community service event, no profit involved.
Item prices range from 25 cents to $12 with most in the $1 – $4 range.
All gifts are categorized by family member, i.e. “mom,” “grandmother,” “brother,” “sister,” etc. so they can shop easily for a gift. There will be a station where the kids can wrap the gift as well.
Times and locations are Dec. 17 and Dec. 18 from 3 – 6 p.m. at Betz Elementary and Dec. 19 from noon – 5 p.m. at the Cheney Library.
Pinochle players sought
For anyone who loves to play pinochle, then Marian Jones would love to talk to you.
Jones would like to start a pinochle group in Airway Heights. The group would play at the Airway Heights Community Center, with date and time determined by the interested players. Please call Jones at 244-5753.
