Bill and Dottie Butler are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary with a private ceremony this weekend attended by family members and friends. The couple was married on Aug. 18, 1945 in Tonopah, Nev., after Bill returned home from flying 53 missions in Europe as a B-24 Liberator bomber pilot during World War II.
