A May 7 story about Silver Lake milfoil mitigation contained incorrect information stating the Washington State Department of Ecology will provide property owners with potable water if the chemical 2,4-D is used to treat the lake due to the ineffectivness of Clearcast after the two treatments. It’s the Associated Silver Lake Owners who must pay for and provide potable water for property owners during the 2,4-D treatment.
