Medical Lake will be the latest city in Spokane County to participate in curbside recycling.
At its March 17 meeting, the City Council unanimously approved a resolution to amend utility rates and fees to add $3 to the current $14.70 in garbage fees to residential accounts to pay for curbside recycling. They also voted to amend the city’s current contract for disposal with Sunshine Recycling and Disposal to include curbside recycling services.
