One hundred twenty-five years ago, on Feb. 15, 1890, the Morning Star Rebekah Lodge No. 24 became the first Rebekah Lodge chartered in Spokane County. The lodge was an auxiliary of the Odd Fellows lodge in Cheney. The lodge closed in 1988.
