Deborah (Synstad) Sproul

Deborah (Synstad) Sproul died at Deaconess Hospital on Jan. 22, 2015 in Spokane, Wash. at the age of 52. Debbie was born on April 9, 1962 in Seattle to Sandra and Robert Synstad.

She graduated from Mount Lake Terrace High School in 1980. She married and divorced her high school sweetheart Dennis Sproul. They had two children, Sean and Valerie.

After moving to Spokane she began working at Rosauers Supermarkets and also provided home health care to individuals with disabilities. Debbie was a warm, loving and caring individual. She knew how to make you laugh and loved life. She had a passion for helping people and wanted to help everyone she could. She also had a great love for animals, often taking care of stray cats in the neighborhood.

Debbie is survived by her parents, Sandy and Robert Synstad; her brother, Keith (Karen) Synstad; her two children, Sean Sproul and Valerie (Scott) Amack; her aunts, Marlene Speidel, Pam Porter and Yvonne Porter; her uncle, Steve Schramer; her grandmother, Emma Synstad; her niece and nephew, many cousins and her cat Molly.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday Jan. 31 at 11 a.m. at the Cheney Funeral Chapel located at 1632 West First St. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Debbie's life.
