CHENEY

Jan. 12

Forcible rape was reported to the Police Department. Police arrested Micah J. Williams-Carr, 34, for first-degree rape. Williams-Carr was booked and released from Spokane County Jail. Investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed.

Financial fraud was reported on the 800 block of West First Street. Victim sold property on Craigslist and never received payment. Property was tracked to an apartment in Harrison, Ohio, and Harrison Police Department recovered it.

Jan. 13

Financial fraud/help wanted scam was reported on the 2700 block of Al Ogdon Way.

Jan. 14

Second-degree theft was reported on the 200 block of West Second Street. A backpack and its contents were taken from a vehicle.

Correna A. Gibson, 33, was arrested on the zero hundred block of Cheney-Spokane Road for third-degree driving while license suspended (DWLS).

Second-degree theft was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road. A credit card was taken.

An officer rendered public assistance to an individual on the 2600 block of First Street.

Jan. 15

Extortion was reported on the 200 block of Simpson Parkway.

An all other rapes incident was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road.

Harassment was reported on the 300 block of Erie Street.

Fred W. Danker, 42, was arrested on a local warrant on the 3000 block of Silverthorn Lane.

Jan. 16

Rick L. Schattler, 49, was arrested on a local warrant after turning himself in to the Cheney Municipal Court.

Joel W. Oakland, 20, was arrested for a loud party on the 300 block of Sixth Street.

Jan. 17

Domestic violence was reported on the 2800 block of First Street. Joshua P. Spottedhorse, 33, was arrested for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence and on a simple assault/domestic violence warrant out of Spokane. Potential charges are pending for violation of the Controlled Substance Act.

Domestic violence was reported on the zero hundred block of West Fifth Street. Verbal dispute.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 400 block of First Street. A bar tab was not paid.

Jan. 18

Second-degree theft was reported on the 1800 block of Fifth Street. A laptop was taken.

Jan. 19

Domestic violence was reported on the 500 block of Scenic Heights Lane. Gregory F. Shinholster, 46, was arrested for first-degree burglary/domestic violence, second-degree assault/domestic violence and felony harassment.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 2400 block of University Lane. A bow and arrow and miscellaneous hunting supplies were taken from a vehicle.

MEDICAL LAKE

Jan. 12

Officers conducted a welfare check on the 400 block of North Martin Street. At the scene, two juveniles were arrested for possession of a controlled substance/marijuana.

Jan. 13

Abuse was reported on the 100 block of North Hallett Street.

A juvenile runaway was reported on the 500 block of North Brower Street. The juvenile returned home later that day.

Jan. 14

Assault was reported on the 800 block of West Maple Street.

Jan. 15

A vehicle theft was reported on the 400 block of South Brower Street.

A suicidal subject was reported on the 500 block of South Campbell Street.

Jan. 17

Theft was reported on the 900 block of East Lake Street. A cellphone was taken.

AIRWAY HEIGHTS

Jan. 14

Levy B. Nick-Nomee, 24, was arrested on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.

Officers took a report of harassing telephone calls on the 1800 block South Campbell Street.

Jan. 15

Child rape was reported at Eighth Avenue and Lawson Street.

A hit-and-run accident was reported at Highway 2 and Hayford Road.

Anthony E. Wright, 29, was arrested at 13th Avenue and Lundstrom Street for third-degree DWLS.

Sara A. Wynne, 26, was arrested on the 300 block of South Aspen Street for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.

A retail theft with extenuating circumstances was reported on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.

Timothy C. Greene, 22, was arrested on the 1800 block of South Lawson Street for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.

Jan. 16

A traffic accident with damages was reported at Highway 2 and Garfield Road.

Jan. 17

Jordan M. Lewis, 25, was arrested on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue on warrants for theft, second-degree burglary and possession of a controlled substance.

Colin G. Dirk, 57, was arrested at Highway 2 and Flint Road for third-degree DWLS.

Amanda L. George, 34, was arrested at Highway 2 and Flint Road on warrants for forgery and possession of a controlled substance.

Jan. 18

A hit-and-run accident was reported on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue.

Jan. 19

Drew A. Villalobos, 28, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for third-degree theft/shoplifting.

A suicidal subject was reported on the 900 block of South Avalon Street.

A stolen vehicle was recovered on the 10600 block of West 12th Street.

Sergery P. Zubenko, 28, was arrested on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue for possession of a controlled substance/methamphetamine.

A juvenile was arrested on the 600 block of Horton Street for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.

An abandoned vehicle was reported at McFarlane and Craig roads.
