CHENEY

Oct. 5

Second-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 100 block of West Third Street. There was damage to the reader board.

Oct. 6

Shaquille B. Hill, 21, was arrested on a Cheney Municipal Court warrant for fourth-degree assault.

Domestic violence/harassment/intimidation was reported on the 400 block of Lienum Court.

Patricia A. Torres, 33, was arrested for third-degree theft/shoplifting, on the 2700 block of First Street.

A domestic violence incident was reported on the 1100 block of First Street. Dispute proved to be verbal, but in the process of responding police discovered one of the involved parties had an active felony warrant out of Oklahoma for national extradition. Rickey D. Clewis, 28, was arrested and booked into Spokane County Jail on a fugitive hold for illegal use of credit cards.

Oct. 7

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 700 block of West First Street.

A runaway from Cheney High School was reported. Juvenile was returned home.

Possible child abuse/neglect was reported on the 300 block of Betz Road. Investigation will be coordinated with Child Protective Services.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 300 block of North Sixth Street. A blue bicycle was taken.

A stolen 1983 Chevrolet S10 taken from West Richland was recovered on the 1600 block of Third Street.

Oct. 8

A car key was found on the 700 block of Fourth Street.

Patrick W. Strickland, 40, was arrested on the 1000 block of First Street for violation of a no contact order. Strickland developed a medical issue and was transported by the Cheney officer to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. While at the hospital on the 100 block of West Eighth Avenue in Spokane, the officer witnessed somebody assault an emergency room nurse. The officer took down the assailant and held him until Spokane Police arrived.

Oct. 9

Cheney Police assisted Washington State Patrol with a driving under the influence (DUI) stop on the 2300 block of First Street.

A wallet was turned in at the Cheney Police Department.

Residential burglary was reported on the 2200 block of First Street. Tools were taken.

Suspicious circumstances were reported on the 2200 block of First Street. Incident could be reckless driving.

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 500 block of Villard Street.

Oct. 10

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 700 block of West First Street.

Rebecca L. Iniguez, 34, was arrested on a felony warrant from Spokane Superior Court for forgery on the 1700 block of Fourth Street.

Harassment/threatening messages were reported on the 200 block of Simpson Parkway.

Suspicious circumstances were reported at Cheney High School involving possible indecent liberties.

Rape was reported on the 100 block of Betz Road. Cheney Police Department is working the case in conjunction with the Walla Walla Police Department.

Philipp W. Schmitt, 40, was arrested for third-degree driving while license suspended (DWLS) on the 2700 block of First Street.

Patrick W. Strickland, 40, was arrested for violation of a court order on the 1000 block of First Street. Also arrested was Alicia M. Utter, 35, for felony possession of heroin.

Second-degree theft was reported on the 800 block of West First Street. A credit card was taken.

A blue bicycle was found and taken to the Police Department.

Oct. 11

Jamie Fraustocerna, 19, Aaron G. Jones, 22, and Kyle M. Adolfson, 22, were arrested for having a loud party on the zero hundred block of Erie Street.

Domestic violence/verbal dispute, was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road.

Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 3000 block of Silverthorne Lane. Damage was done to a window.

An abandoned 1966 Chrysler 300 was impounded on the 100 block of H Street. It had been there since Sept. 19.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 1200 block of First Street. A gray bicycle was taken.

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road.

Oct. 12

Forgery was reported to the Police Department. A man reported he received a counterfeit $5 bill as change.

Second-degree theft was reported on the 900 block of Golden Hills Drive. A wallet with identification was stolen from a vehicle.

Stanley Ferriolo, 50, was arrested for violation of a court protection order on the 2300 block of First Street.

Suspicious circumstances were reported at Eastern Washington University’s Louise Anderson Hall involving possible indecent liberties. Information was third hand, and the incident was reported to have occurred elsewhere in Cheney at an unknown location.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 2200 block of Sunrise Drive. A wallet was taken from a vehicle.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 900 block of Golden Hills Drive. Coins and sunglasses were taken.

A 13-year-old female runaway was arrested on the 800 block of West First Street.

Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 800 block of Chestnut. A porch thermometer was damaged.

A 14-year-old female runaway was arrested on the zero hundred block of Vine Street.

Oct. 13

Third-degree theft was reported on the zero hundred block of Erie Street. An iPhone was stolen.

Oct. 7

An argument was reported on the 500 block of North Brower Street.

Oct. 10

A juvenile was arrested on the 200 block of East Lake Street for second-degree burglary, second-degree theft and second-degree malicious mischief.

Brandon J. Pachoso, 19, was arrested on the 300 block of East Fellows Street for second-degree assault.

AIRWAY HEIGHTS

Oct. 8

Sonny C. Rome, 59, was arrested the 1200 block of South Hayford Road on warrants for felony forgery, possession of a controlled substance/methamphetamine and possession of prescription medication without a prescription.

A suicidal subject was reported on the 1800 block of South Mintle Street.

Second-degree malicious mischief was reported at Sunset skate park.

Victor M. Maldonado, 69, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for third-degree theft/shoplifting.

A domestic dispute was reported on the 12200 block of West Ninth Avenue.

Oct. 9

Timothy J. Gilfoy, 18, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for third-degree theft/shoplifting.

Harassment was reported on the 300 block of South Aspen Street.

A juvenile was arrested on the 900 block of South Lawson Street on a felony warrant for contempt of court.

Ronald L. Ricci, 46, was arrested on Lawson Street and Eighth Avenue on four warrants for violating terms of release on charges of possession of a controlled substance.

Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 300 block of South Aspen Street.

Oct. 10

Ricardo L. Visnicker, 43, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for third-degree theft/shoplifting.

Shae L. Cloud, 18, was arrested on the 12500 block of West Highway 2 for fourth-degree assault and first-degree criminal trespass.

Oct. 11

First-degree theft was reported on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.

Tamara C. Butler, 35, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road on a warrant for failure to appear on a third-degree DWLS charge.

Oct. 12

A vehicle theft was reported on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue.

Rape was reported on the 1600 block of South Campbell Street.

Tamarra C. Garcia, 27, was arrested on Hayford Road and Ninth Avenue for third-degree DWLS.

Oct. 13

A suicidal subject was reported on the 1600 block of Deer Heights Road.
