Robert R. Atkinson, 59, was arrested at the Cheney Municipal Court on a warrant for failure to appear on a fourth degree assault/domestic violence charge.

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the zero hundred block of Third Street.

There was a violation of a court order at the Municipal Court.

A black bicycle was found on the 100 block of Washington Street.

A white bicycle was found on the 200 block of Second Street.

A gray bicycle was found on the 100 block of Washington Street.

Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 400 block of Simpson Parkway. A window was broken.

Domestic violence/verbal was reported on the 100 block of West Fifth Street.

A street department employee found an identification card on First Street, which he turned into the Cheney Police Department.

There was a report of violation of a court order on the 700 block of West First Street.

Vehicle prowl was reported on the 500 block of Cambridge Street.

Second-degree theft was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road. A bicycle was taken.

Sept 14

Keith R. Jennen, 23, was arrested on the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road for third degree driving while license suspended/revoked (DWLS).

Malicious mischief was reported on the 900 block of East Lake Street. Tires on a vehicle were slashed.

Burglary was reported on the 500 block of East Campbell Street. The back door of a residence was forced open. Nothing was reported missing.

Dead on arrival/natural causes was reported on the 900 block of North Golden Court.

An argument was reported on the 400 block of North Brower Street.

Tara M. Platt, 38, was arrested on the 400 block of North Brooks Road on a warrant for driving under the influence (DUI) of intoxicating liquor or drugs.

Assault was reported on the 500 block of North Staples Street.

Custodial interference was reported on the 400 block of East Jim Darby Drive.

A traffic accident with damages was reported on the 1700 block of South Lawson Street.

Derek C. Smith, 34, was arrested on Highway 2 and Deer Heights Road on a warrant for failure to appear on a theft charge.

Charles Moss, 52, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for second-degree burglary, third-degree retail theft with special circumstances and third-degree theft/shoplifting.
