From the archives: 1964

Construction progressed on the new Cecil Dryden Hall at Eastern Washington State College. Named after an associate professor of history emeritus at the college, the new hall was to house 246 female students and cost an estimated $1.253 million. Culler, Gale, Martell and Ericson were the architects; Selkirk Construction Company was the general contractor. It is located between Ninth and Tenth streets on Cedar Street.
