CHENEY

June 23

Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 300 block of Nolan Brown. A car was damaged.

June 24

A suspicious circumstance was reported when a man turned in what he believed to be drugs to the Cheney Police Department.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 700 block of Second Street. A lawn tractor was taken.

Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 1100 block of First Street. A car was damaged.

June 25

Videos were found on the 100 block of College Street.

A suspicious circumstance was reported on the 2200 block of First Street. Comments were made that could be construed as threats.

A mental health issue was reported on the 100 block of Washington Street.

June 26

Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 1100 block of Second Street. A car was damaged.

A bicycle was found on the 200 block of University Lane.

An attempted suicide was reported to the Cheney Police Department. Individual was involuntarily committed.

A two-car, minor-injury collision occurred on the 2700 block of First Street.

June 27

Jeffery A. Gay, 48, was arrested on a Cheney Municipal Court warrant for assault, domestic violence, and failure to appear or comply on the 2200 block of First Street.

William R. Kelly, 21, was arrested for a court commitment from Cheney Municipal Court.

Torrey R. Deathrage, 29, was arrested on an Asotin County warrant for three driving under the influence charges.

Elizabeth A. Lien, 34, was arrested on a local warrant on the 1000 block of First Street.

Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the zero hundred block of West Fifth Street. A barbeque was damaged.

Domestic violence/ verbal abuse was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road.

A one-car, minor-injury collision occurred on Cheney-Spangle Road between Dave’s Auto and the Fish Lake trailhead.

A non-injury collision occurred on the zero hundred block of West Seventh Street. A car hit a building.

June 28

A wheelchair was found on the 100 block of G Street.

An all other cases report was made on the 200 block of Oak Street. A bullet hole was discovered in a mailbox.

Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 500 block of Fourth Street. A window was broken.

June 29

Domestic violence/ verbal abuse was reported on the 100 block of West First Street.

Andrew M. Peterson, 23, and Thang D. Nguyen, 23, were arrested for second-degree robbery on the 2800 block of Bethany Street.

June 30

Edward J. Steele, 23, was arrested for trespassing on the 2300 block of University Lane.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 200 block of Seventh Street. A cell phone was taken.

Second-degree theft was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road. A purse was taken.

A mental case was reported on the 2300 block of University Lane. A referral was placed to mental health.

MEDICAL LAKE

June 26

A vehicle prowl was reported on West Fourth Avenue and Maple Street. The complainant said a window had been broken and a Toshiba NB300 laptop was taken.

No damage was found on a reported vehicle prowl on the 100 block of South Walker Street. The complainant said the vehicle was locked at the time. Some change and medications were missing.

June 29

Officers took an informational report of an argument on the 800 block of East Ladd Street.

Officers took a report of possible assault on East Campbell Street and South Stanley Street.

June 30

An adult female patient at Eastern State Hospital was arrested for third-degree felony assault on the 800 block of West Maple Street.
