Emmanuel Lutheran Church

The Fifth Sunday after Pentecost will be celebrated at Emmanuel Lutheran Church this Sunday, June 23. All are welcome to worship at 10:30 a.m. Adult education class begins at 9 a.m.

A “two-site” Vacation Bible School will be held Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19. “Live Love(d)” will be the theme for this year’s program. The Lutherhaven staff will lead the children through a week of learning, games, crafts, and activities.

Emmanuel Lutheran Church will host children who will be entering grades 1-6 this fall. A daily sack lunch will be needed as our VBS hours will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. St. Rose Catholic Church will host children ages 3-5 Monday through Friday from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Registration forms are available at Emmanuel Lutheran Church located at 639 Elm St. on the window by the front doors. Please fill out one form per child you will be registering.

United Church of Christ

The United Church of Christ welcomes everyone to the service of worship led by pastor David Krueger-Duncan in the sanctuary at 423 N. Sixth St., starting at 10 a.m. Sunday.

Children (age 3 to grade 8) may either go to the nursery after listening to the Children’s Minutes or stay in church with their parents. Little ones may stay in the child care room in the Christian education building from 9:45-11:15 a.m.

We’re friendly folks. Please join us after church as we get to know one another over coffee and cookies.

United Methodist Church

Please join us for worship this week at the United Methodist Church. Worship is at 10 a.m.

Having recently returned from the church’s annual conference, the Rev. Terry Hall will lead the service. Sunday school classes are in recess for the summer months.

Sunday afternoon UMC will lead the worship service at Cheney Care Center at 3 p.m.

You are in store for a special treat at the 6 p.m. worship this Sunday. The gospel-singing group “His Song” will lead the service with, song, testimonies and conversation. Come and worship.
