EWU seniors featured in ‘Visual Arguments' exhibition

Eastern Washington University's Art Department is holding its annual exhibition of works by seniors graduating in the bachelor of fine arts program.

“Visual Arguments: 2011 BFA Senior Exhibition” runs April 29 through May 12, with an artist's reception taking place Friday, April 29 from 6-8 p.m. at the EWU Gallery of Art located in middle of the Fine and Performing Arts Complex.

The exhibition includes the works of 10 BFA candidates created in a variety of media and styles. Participating artists are Kevin Cook (painting/sculpture), Taylor Fisher (painting/drawing), Jamin Kuhn (drawing/mixed media), Kelley Lancaster (painting/ceramics), Robin Milligan (mixed media/digital art), Matthew Preston (ceramics/sarcasm), Laura Rafford (painting/mixed media), Danny Snow (painting/ceramics), Lynnette Tate (painting) and Kelsey Vance (painting).

The public is invited to attend the reception as well as the exhibition. The gallery is open to the public Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is closed on weekends and holidays.
