United Church of Christ

On a hot summer Sunday, what could be better than an ice cream social? Ice cream and toppings will grace our socializing during the Fellowship Hour after church services this Sunday. All are welcome to partake of ice cream and, before that, to discern the pastor's sermon.

The 10 a.m. church service will be led by Pastor Joan Sulser, who will discuss a parable about Jesus' healing on the Sabbath. There will be special music, and child care will be available in the Christian Ed building from 9:45 - 11:15 a.m.

Men's Fellowship will meet for breakfast and discussion at 7:45 a.m. this Sunday in the upper room of the Willow Springs Restaurant.

After church on Aug. 29 a short make-up session will be held after church for the “Stone Soup” envisioning of a description of the church and its members and the goals. If you couldn't attend either session, please contact Mariann Donley to give your input. Every person's ideas are significant.
