Operation Spokane Heroes is holding two events to support our troops.
Friday, Aug. 27, the organization presents R. Lee “Gunny” Ermey at the Bing Crosby Theater. Tickets are $20, doors opening at 6 p.m. and closing exactly at 7 p.m. when the show begins. There will be a raffle drawing for an Ermey engraved Glock 21.45, with beer and wine available. Ermey hosts the TV shows “Lock n'Load” and “Mail Call” and has appeared in films including “Full Metal Jacket. Tickets available through http://www.ticketswest.com or at 800-325-7328.
Saturday, Aug. 28 Operation Spokane Heroes presents a “Salute Our Soldiers” concert at 8 p.m. at the Knitting Factory, featuring the bands Lucid, 33, Sweet Hollow, and Topsoil. Tickets are $8 and available at Holiday Inn Express, Blades Room and Dynamic Gymnastics.
