Ferdynand Joseph Piekarz a.k.a. Fred and Rocky, passed away July 2, 2009 at his home in Medical Lake, Wash.
He was born in Glasgow, Scotland on Aug. 8, 1943 and came to the U.S. aboard the SS Queen Elizabeth at the age of 5 with his parents, Ferdynand and Rosina Piekarz. The family eventually settled in Chicago where he lived for 50 years.
