West Nile virus meeting at Spokane Valley Mirabeau Point Aug. 3

Spokane and Washington health organizations want to inform area residents how they may protect themselves against West Nile virus and provide updates on new information about the disease on Friday, Aug. 3, at Mirabeau Point Park in Spokane Valley, 2426 N. Discovery Place (across from the Valley YWCA) from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Group attending include Spokane Regional Health District, Spokane Valley Senior Center, Washington State Department of Health and DEET Education program.
