    Junior Delaney Hodgins became just the 17th player in Eastern Washington women's basketball program history to score 1,000 points on Thursday, Dec. 8 as the Eagles scored an 84-67 victory over Cal State Fullerton at Reese Court. Hodgins scored her 1,000th career point with a 3-point field goal in the third quarter and ended the day with 28 points to give her 1,015 points for her career.     Eastern Washington held the Richmond Spiders to just 205 total yards of offense and five turnovers in recording a 38-0 Football Championship Subdivision quarterfinal round playoff win Dec. 10 at Roos Field. Eastern's defense recorded its first shutout since a 16-0 victory over Northern Colorado in, 2009.     Medical Lake's boys improved to 4-0 overall and earned their first Northeast A League basketball victory Dec. 9 for new head coach Noel Hachtel with a 59-44 win over visiting Riverside. ML's girls also won their NEA opener, a 48-28 against the Rams.... Full story
