    Cheney High School is hosting a "We're All In For Our Military" night at this Friday night's football game, Sept. 11, between the Blackhawks and Deer Park Stags. The Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Washington National Guard will have information booths and games for kids to participate in from 3-7 pm.     Another Airway Heights elected official has garnered some heat after a post they made on their personal Facebook account. According to a press release, Councilman Dave Malet posted an offensive picture on his personal Facebook account, Wednesday Sept. 2. Deputy City Manager Lee Bennett said he received a phone call regarding Malet’s post.     The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office and Spokane Valley Police Department are inviting residents to participate in their free Citizen’s Academy, which begins Oct. 8. According to a news release, residents who attend the academy will have a chance to meet the deputies that serve and protect Spokane County.
