    Community Coat Distribution Coats have been collected throughout the Cheney area and now it is time to distribute them.     The Cheney-Spokane Chapter of the Ice Age Floods Institute has several activities planned for the month of October. The first is this Sunday’s (Oct. 4) 11-mile-plus bike ride on the abandoned Milwaukee Railroad grade trail along Rock Lake in Whitman County. Although not open to the public, ride leaders Dr. Eugene Kiver and Dr. Charles Mutschler have obtained a special permit for one-day use of the trail.
