Missing woman located in Portland

CHENEY – Police have updated a year-old missing woman’s case after she was found safe in Oregon.

Kaitlyn Dupuy, 30, was reported missing by her family on Jan. 11, 2023.

Records show she was spotted in Lincoln City, Ore., in March 2023, but no subsequent sightings since then. Cheney police updated the case Tuesday, Jan. 2.

“She was located by another law enforcement agency in a different state,” Sgt. Zeb Campbell said. “She was safe: she was gone by her own free will.”

Campbell said she was located in Portland, Ore. He did not comment on why she left.
