Cheney girls roll past Rogers in 'Railroad Rumble'

There’s never a bad time to end a losing streak, but to do it during a “rivalry game” might have an added impact in years to come when stories are told?

The Cheney girls stopped an eight-game slide with 68-37 non-league win over Rogers of the 2A Greater Spokane League at Spokane Arena Jan. 30 in the “Railroad Rumble.” The Blackhawks win countered a pair of GSL losses earlier in the week, 42-38 to Ridgeline and 62-35 vs. Mt. Spokane, Jan. 27, both at home.
