Mary George, of 909 Oakland, loves keeping her large yard looking spectacular, and for that work her home has been named Cheney's Yard of the Month.

George is presently preparing new plants, supplementing her planting soil with Cheney Compost. She boasts that the use of the compost has enriched her plantings. She is able to discourage the roving deer from munching on her foliage.
