Cheney Congregational Church

We will be hosting a drive-in Christmas Eve service on Dec. 24 at 5:30 p.m. in our church parking lot. The service will be broadcasted to your car radio, so you can participate from the warmth and safety of your own car. We will sing carols, hear a Christmas story, and light candles. A live stream of this service will also be provided, which you can request a link to on our website.

With the social isolation of this season, we are organizing groups of no more than five people outside your household to gather around a fire outside to chat and get to know each other. If you would like to be a part of our “fireside chats” during this season, then email pastor Matt Goodale at

We continue to host live Sunday morning services on Zoom at 10 a.m. You can request a Zoom link through our website,

These are difficult times for many of us. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

For your contemplation: “Now on this Christmas send to us your angels to sing again their songs of peace and good will. Let us respond by loving all creation. For all of life is sacred. Yes, all life is sacred.” Rodney Romney
