There is still a little more time to donate to this year’s community Cheney coat drive. New coats only can be dropped off through Oct. 12 at Copy Junction, 1921 1st St. in Cheney. Beginning Oct. 14, coats will be distributed at Cheney Outreach, 616 3rd St. Outreach is open on Wednesday’s from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m., and also on Mondays from 4-6:30 p.m.
There are no qualifying criteria needed to receive a coat. Cheney Kiwanis and Copy Junction are helping with this year’s event....
