Salnave's Palmer named Teacher of the Month

CHENEY -- Cheney School District teacher Kyndle Palmer has been named Teacher of the Month by KHQ and Eastern Washington University. The award is also sponsored by STCU.

Palmer was honored in a surprise ceremony Friday morning, Oct. 18, at Salnave Elementary School where she teaches fourth and fifth grades. She has been a teacher for about 10 years, she said after the ceremony, and did her student teaching at Salnave.

Palmer was nominated by one of her students, Emma Plewnarz.
