Cardinal soccer keeps on kicking onward

The Medical Lake girls soccer squad (0-3, 0-5) continue to struggle and work on being competitive as the season moves ahead.

The team lost 13-0 to the undefeated Freeman Scotties (3-0, 5-0) at home on Tuesday, Sept. 17. The teams focus, according to head coach Zane Higgins, was to focus on what they could do to improve, he said.

The Cardinals faced then faced the Grizzlies (1-2, 1-5) in Newport the following Thursday in a 4-0 loss.

“It was a pretty even game, back and forth,” Higgins said. “They had a couple of girls that could finish.”
