The Washington Trust for Historic Preservation has announced a new round of grant funding for preservation of historic barns and cemeteries. The funding, done in partnership with the state Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation (DAHP), carries an application deadline of Oct. 23.
Two grants are available: one for historic barns, in its seventh round of funding, and one for cemeteries, in its second round. The grants are made available to owners of barns and those with stewardship responsibilities over historic cemeteries.
