As of press time, Spokane County Sheriff’s deputies were attempting to locate 69-year-old Gregory D. Thompson, last seen Monday, May 13, at 7 p.m., according to a press release.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to a missing person call in Medical Lake on Monday evening after a family member reported that Thompson had left a note at his residence saying goodbye.
Thompson has not been seen since Monday evening.
Deputies located Thompson’s unoccupied vehicle on the southwest side of Medical Lake, near Waterfront Park.
A search by Sheriff’s Search and Rescue crews, including Air 1, had not yet been able to locate Thompson as of press time.
Thompson is described as a white male, approximately 5-foot-6-inches tall, 155 pounds, with white and gray shoulder-length hair, hazel eyes and wears wire frame glasses. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and possibly a black zippered jacket.
