Saturday event at Medical Lake High School features regional college competition
West Plains wrestling fans can get a taste of a big local collegiate competition this Saturday, Nov. 17 in Medical Lake at the Eastern Washington Scramble.
After doing so, it may either save them the drive and other considerations — like parking in downtown Spokane — or encourage attending the Spokane Open Nov. 16-18, at the Convention Center.
Featuring 13 college wrestling teams, both men and women, bouts start at noon and will run through about 6 p.m., Medical Lake High School wrestling coach and event promoter, Matt Leenhouts, said.
