The Cheney High School boys tennis team went undefeated last week against Deer Park, Medical Lake and North Central. The Blackhawks (4-1) begin Great Northern League play at Pullman on April 10.
“We had a great week,” head coach Jesse Erickson said. “I am pleased where we are at going into the break. I am really happy with the team and we are going to just keep improving.”
Against Deer Park the Blackhawks won 4-1. There were two singles matches with Hunter Pohl collecting the one win on that side by defeating Jared Lee 6-2, 7-6 in No. 2 singles. Dixon Gerber fell to Tyson Lim 6-1, 6-0 in No. 1...
