Game slips away in final three innings of loss to Lakeside Recovery

Andrew Witt, a Cheney member of the Spokane Cannons, won this race to first base in last Saturday's 5-2 win over Twin Cities. The Cannons fell in a July 25 game to Lakeside Recovery, 9-4, and were eliminated from play.

Lakeside Recovery rallied from a 4-1 deficit in the third inning, scoring six runs over the game's final three innings and earned a 9-4 American Legion Baseball AAA state tournament win over the Spokane Cannons Tuesday, July 25 at Al K. Jackson Field.
