Following a home sweep where they defeated Idaho State, 58-41 on Jan. 12 and Weber State, 99-85 two days later, the Eastern Washington women’s basketball team hits the road for a pair of Big Sky Conference games.
Trailing 6-0 Northern Colorado by 1-1/2 games in the standings, the Eagles face Northern Arizona tonight (Jan. 19) and then travel to Southern Utah this Saturday.
Delaney Hodgins scored 26 points in the Weber win. Ashli Payne matched Hodgins’ 26 points. Payne also finished with a double-double, recording 11 rebounds. Symone Starks had 14 points, while Violet Kapri Morrow also went into double-digits, scoring 13 points.
Phillips had a game-high 21 points to lift Eastern over Idaho State.
