Bomb threat postpones Cards', Cougars' wrestling

The Northeast A League wrestling match scheduled for Dec. 15 between Medical Lake and visiting Chewelah was postponed when a bomb threat closed Jenkins Junior/Senior High School in Chewelah.

Medical Lake head wrestling coach Josh Edmondson said the match would be rescheduled, likely sometime in January, 2017.

The Cardinals, meanwhile, will compete at the Tri-County Tournament today (Dec. 22) at Central Valley High School in competition that begins at 9:30 a.m. and then next Wednesday, Dec. 28 in their annual visit to the M-2 Tourney at Rogers High in Spokane.
