Cheney High FBLA members qualify for national conference

The Cheney High School's Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter had a fantastic showing at the Washington State Business Leadership Conference in Spokane, April 21-23. Twenty-seven students finished first, second, third or fourth to qualify for the FBLA national conference, to be held June 29-July 2 in Atlanta.

Highlights from the conference for Cheney included Paige King's first-place finish in Help Desk and senior Matt Duplar taking first place in Desktop Application Programming. Senior Joseph Riddle and junior Daniel Storment placed in four events each. Megumi Call and Amanda Stevens qualified for the national conference in the Microsoft Office Specialist Excel category, but their specific placing in the state competition was not listed.
