The Medical Lake girls basketball team’s season ended in the second round of the Northeast A League playoffs following a 56-33 loss at Newport Feb. 13.
Earlier in the week Medical Lake defeated Colville in an opening-round elimination game 46-37 after losing its final league game, 39-35 to Riverside.
Against the Grizzlies, a 20-8 edge in the second quarter broke open a relatively close game.
