The Eastern Washington University track and field teams will see their first competition at home this Friday, Dec. 4, and Saturday, Dec. 5, when they host the Candy Cane VIII at the Jim Thorpe Fieldhouse. Admission is free.
Competition will begin on Friday with the women’s pentathlon starting at 11 a.m. and the men’s heptathlon will begin at 11:30 a.m. The men’s heptathlon will finish on Saturday with events starting at 9 a.m. Individual field events will begin Saturday at 10 a.m. with running events to follow at 12:30 p.m. on a rolling schedule.
