Blue Devils bounced

The Spokane Blue Devils AAA American Legion baseball season skidded to a halt following the first two days of the league playoffs.

With losses to the Northstars, 14-5 on July 13 and to the Cannons, 10-0 July 14, sandwiched around a 10-0 victory Monday night over the N.E, 49ers, the Blue Devils were ousted from the double-elimination tournament.

The Blue Devils had just returned from playing six games at a tournament in Boise where with just 12 players, they finished a surprising second with a 4-2 record.
