Covington rallies for 9-6 West Plains Little League win

Covington Construction scored a 9-6 West Plains Little League AAA baseball victory over Waste Management, June 4 at Waterfront Park in Medical Lake.

Covington used a six-run third inning to rally for the victory in a game that went four innings.

Connor Pieratt and Blaise Descoteaux each had two hits and scored two runs. Tate Heuschkel was 2-for-2 with a walk.

Heuschkel pitched 2 1/3 innings and got relief from Dillon Hodges over the final 1 1/3 innings to secure the victory.

“This was a fun and close game against an excellent opponent,” WM coach Jerrimy Clark wrote in an email.
