Cory Mitchell reunites with brother in Calgary

Former Eastern Washington University football wide receiver Cory Mitchell will reunite with his younger brother Bo Levi after Mitchell signed a free agent contract recently with the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League.

Mitchell started 18 of the 46 games he played in four seasons as an Eagle, with 101 career catches and 10 touchdowns, and a 17.6 average per kickoff return. He missed five games in 2014 because of a broken collarbone suffered at Washington on Sept. 6, 2014, but earned honorable mention All-Big Sky Conference honors as a junior in 2013.

His brother, former Eagle quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell, is now a household name in Calgary after he led the Stampeders to a 20-16 win in the Grey Cup Nov. 30, 2014 over Hamilton.
