Cheney Book Club meeting

“How it all began,” an absorbing novel by a British writer is the April selection of the Book Discussion Group of the Friends of the Cheney Community Library.

The group meets Thursday, April 30, at 7 p.m. at the library. All are welcome to attend.

In “How it all began,” Penelope Lively writes of seven people in London, whose lives are affected by unexpected events, beginning with the mugging of an elderly woman. The characters in the story come alive in a story that is touching and often funny.
