The Cardinals were outscored by host, and fellow Northeast A League member, Deer Park, 93.75-79.5, even though they ran distance runners in events in which they normally do not compete.
A case in point was the Cards’ distance ace Domenic Rehm who served up a personal record in the 400 meters with a time of 52.28 seconds. It was the fastest time so far this year for an NEA competitor.
