Cheney track and field places eighth at Howard Dolphin West Valley Invite
The Cheney High girls’ track and field team kicked off their 2015 season with a pair of meets last week.
The Blackhawks held their own against a larger Lewis and Clark 4A team from the Greater Spokane League last Wednesday, March 18; winning nine of the 18 events in the 81.67 – 68.33 loss to the visiting Tigers. Cheney capped the week with an eighth-place finish Saturday at the Howard Dolphin West Valley Invitational at West Valley High School.
