Blackhawks finish seventh at Freeman

The Cheney High wrestling team closed out 2014 with several wrestlers bringing home medals from the Dec. 27 Freeman Invite.
Michael Ferguson once again took the top spot in the 220-pound weight division. He won his first three matches via pin, including a 32-second pin over East Valley's Adam Kirk. He defeated Selkirk's Cody Hoffman via a 13-0 major decision in the championship round.
Braden Wirth (126) and Kodi Smith (195) both finished third in their weight classes.
