The 2014 Medical Lake Special Olympics Bowling Team claimed five gold medals, six silvers and three bronze at district competition, Nov. 8, at Lilac Bowling Lanes in Spokane. Gold medal winners included: Maeghan and Rick Arnold, Robby Bartcher and Ben Johns, Marlee and Helen McDaniel, Jonathan and Jonah Pendleton as well as Breanna and Jean Ripley. Silver medals were won by Beth Denman and Stephani Henne, Andrew and Sean Dunn, Josh Kaplan and Dean Sprague, Alison Kepka and Marisa Prokaryn and Kameron and Norman Ripley as well as Piper Spradley and Elizabeth Berger. Johanna Shuele and Robert VanAken, Sarah and Jenny Sprague and Nick and Mike Stamper all claimed bronze.
