Cheney Book Club meeting

Rita Seedorf and Margaret Verhoef lead the discussion of their novel “Letters from Brackham Wood” at the September meeting of the Book Discussion Group of the Friends of the Cheney Community Library. The group meets Tuesday, Sept. 23, at 7 p.m. at the library. All are welcome.

“Letters from Brackham Wood” is the story of two cousins during World War II. One lives in England, the other in Spokane. They exchange letters telling of daily life during wartime.

Careful research provides convincing details. The mystery discovered by the English cousin and an engaging writing style makes the novel an enjoyable read.

For more information call 235-4490.
